Kinja'd!!!

I heard about this album on the radio the other day and thought I’d pick up a copy, figuring it was going to be in the $20-25 range. Nope - around $70, and going up from there, with the 3 CD/3 album set selling for almost $400.

Here's hoping the library grabs a copy...

I think the most I’ve ever paid for a CD was the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim soundtrack - 4 discs. If you bought it before a certain date, Jeremy Soul autographed it. It was still only $30-40.

A seller on Discogs has the 3CD/3LP for $250.00 (not me).

He’s a bit of a legend in the world of jazz, and is well known as a founding member of Weather Report. At 85 years old he’s still putting out amazing music.

As for the price? I dunno. Maybe it’s to pay for the  34-piece orchestra used in the main piece...

Compact discs cost that much? I could understand an early pressing record but a bunch of data on a disc, cmon man.
